Cheers to the weekend! If you have been following along on Snapchat, then you know that Colton and I are currently in Waco for the weekend. It’s a short little trip we are taking, but it will be jam packed with things to do. For anyone who doesn’t know, Colton and I met and graduated both from Baylor University. So needless to say, Waco holds a very near and dear spot in our hearts.
Despite living in Waco for four years, before today, I had yet to visit the Silos or the Magnolia Market. Which I know sounds crazy (people are always shocked when I tell them this!) but when I went to Baylor, Fixer Upper and Chip and Joanna Gaines weren’t even a thing yet!! Actually, I remember when the buzz about a couple from Baylor getting a show on HGTV started. They were looking for an intern and my professor passed my name along to them. When they called to do my interview, it was summer break of my senior year, I was sitting by the pool at home and I got a random call from a lady named Joanna (I had no idea who she was at the time!), she literally wanted to talk and do the interview right then! I didn’t even know she had gotten my resume yet! I was so caught off guard, not prepared even the least bit and lets just say I didn’t get in the internship -lol. None-the-less, I still love the show and think it’s so cool all of the publicity they are bringing to my sweet Waco!
It’s so fun being here and visiting all of our favorite spots. I’ll be sharing a Waco Guide sometime next week!
Any who, I wanted to share this little floral Show Me Your Mumu Dress today because it is the epitome of a spring/summer dress. Perfect for a weekend look and could be worn to any occasion. I know it seems like I have been sharing a lot of Show Me Your Mumu recently, but that’s because I have been sharing a lot of Show Me Your Mumu recently. Which and I swear, this is not sponsored! I just kind of really love everything they make. Their clothing is all so comfortable and flattering and if you need a fun sun dress this season, then there is no one else I would suggest! They do what they do well.
