Hello-Hello!
I am so excited to finally be showing you all Flora Farms today!
If you guys are ever in Cabo and have an extra day, please take a trip to Flora Farms – you will not be dissapointed!
If you guys remember, the week of my Bachelorette, our plans quickly changed when a tropical strom hit Playa De Carmen. Since our hearts were set for the beach, we did a quick switch to Cabo and had to act fast on building our itenerary (I’m that person that loves iteneraries).
A few days before leaving, my MOH asked me if there was anything I for sure wanted to do while in Cabo and I blurrted out FLORA FARMS. I love Cabo, like it is my favorite place in the world. We have been so many times and yet, I have never made it to Flora Farms, no matter how many times I have been told to go.
So for this trip, it was on the list!
First and fore-most, Flora Farms is so me. Like if you could put all of my favorite things in one location and make it a restaurant, then that’s Flora Farms.
In essence, Flora Farms is a farm-to-table restaurant in the most beautiful garden setting, with organic craft cocktails from their bar, live bossanova music, a mango farm with thousands of mangos hanging from the trees (oh my god), and a ice cream stand that served the most delicious (organic) soft served ice cream.
Did I mention it’s in Cabo?
Literally everything.
Oh, anddddddd they are dog friendly and have their own dogs roaming all over the property. Even the menus had a “remembrance” section for all of the dogs on the property who have passed away . I’m telling you, this place had my heart.
When we walked in, they sat us at the most amazing table right in front of the live music. We took a look at the drink menu and I think we all pretty much ordered the same thing, which was some sort of grapefruit and vodka cocktail that was amazing.
Their bread was literally to die for and everything we ordered was SO good. I vote Haley and Ann’s the best though. They ordered the ravioli and lets just say I’m still drooling over how good it was.
After lunch, we went to explore the property. We stopped in their shop which had the most amazing candles, lotions and bath soaps; then we got ice cream, took pictures by their big red truck, and went to the Mango farm before heading back. I would say in a total we were there for over 3 hours.
If you are putting together a trip to Cabo and want to visit Flora Farms, here are a few pro tips:
- Block off at lease 4 hours. It takes close to 30 minutes to get there and you want time there to enjoy yourself without feeling rushed, then give yourself enough time.
- Make a reservation ahead of time.
- Schedule a car service to take you there and not a taxi. This will save you money. The one down side to Cabo are the taxis. They are ruthless and over charge tourists like you wouldn’t believe. Scheduling a car is the much better option/
- Get the ice cream – I recommend the mango!
- Dress to impress. Even though it is technically a farm and is low key, everyone there was dressed very nicely! Not fancy, but definitely not super casual like the rest of Cabo.
Have any of you guys been to Flora Farms?? Did you love it as much as I did?
xo,
Lauren
