Happy Thursday Loves!
How was everyone’s Fourth of July?! I’m not going to lie, since it was raining (I’m talking pouring/flooding/Harvey Flashbacks) in Houston, I worked and chilled most of the day but we did make our way to Buffalo Bayou that evening to watch the Downtown Firework Show! Since we will be heading for the lake this afternoon, Colton and I both decided to make Wednesday a working day so that we could easily take Friday off! After seeing all the rain that we had, I think we made the right decision!
To keep today short and sweet, I wanted to share the photos from a picnic shoot I did with some of my Favorite Houston Bloggers last week. All of our looks are from Salt Flat! I absolutely adore Salt Flat – everything is so cute, feminine and very reasonably priced! Kailey (she is in the orange dress) is not only a blogger but the owner of this online boutique. Aka – a mega boss babe!!
The day we shot this, it was so hot – haha. I don’t know what we were thinking but lets just say that having a picnic during the summertime, in Texas wasn’t the best idea – lol….
At least we had cold rosé and firecracker popsicles to help keep us cool!
I’m always very thankful for my fellow Houston Bloggers and their friendships. This is such a weird industry and since I don’t go into an office everyday, they’re like the closest thing I have to like a co-workers. They’re the only ones who truly understand all of the frustrations and trials that come along with blogging, they are always there to help and are the first ones cheering you on after major accomplishment!
