Welcome Back Cuties!
Happy Thursday! Bringing you guys a lighthearted, fairly random and kind of personal post today! When I say “kind of personal” I just mean that there is oddly something intimate about one’s bedside table, don’t you think? None-the-less, I thought I’d give you guys a glimpse into exactly what is on mine.
I got this blog post idea from a reader the other week and loved the idea. I mean, you guys see my bedside table in every mirror pic and try-on session I record for you guys, so I might as well give you a peek as to what’s going on behind me in every photo.
Plus, you might get some inspiration for your own bedside table!
BEDSIDE TABLE BREAKDOWN
See – nothing too revolutionary lol!
I like my bedside table to be functional, without having too much clutter. Which is why I keep most items in my top drawer, out of sight! I’ll go into that later though.
This space is actually a little more cluttered then I’d like at the moment but it was the only space that I could find for my beloved skincare fridge and I love it so much that it is worth it.

BOOKSTACK BREAKDOWN
(from top to bottom)
Notebook: I started keeping a notebook next to my bed about a year ago and it has been life-changing! Reason being, I tend to be the kind of person that starts running a million to-do lists through my head the moment I lie down so, in order to actually get some sleep, I keep this notebook next to my bed so that I can write any thought or list I might have down so that I won’t forget about it, can stop worrying about it and actually get some shut-eye. **Note: my exact journal above was a random Home Goods find but I linked more below.**
Five Minute Journal: I talked about this Five Minute Journal on Instagram yesterday! If you have ever wanted to start a daily gratitude journal, I cannot recommend this one enough! Every morning I try to put five minutes aside to fill it out and it takes you through the steps of listing out a few things you woke up grateful for, something that would make today great and a daily affirmation.
Jesus Calling Devotional: My most favorite daily devotional! The sweet mom of one of my college roommates gifted this devotional to me my junior year and it has been my absolute favorite since! It takes less than five minutes to read, is easy to understand and puts me in the best mood.
iPad: I should clarify, a very old iPad that is only used for reading. I find it the most convenient for when reading in bed! I’ve thought about getting a Kindle but this iPad was free and works just fine for now:)

Next, I have this little plate to hold all of my jewelry from the day, hair ties, pens, and other randomness. Instead of having it all just thrown on my table, this plate keeps everything organized!
Basically it’s just another easy way to avoid clutter.

Now for the good stuff!
Just kidding, it’s really not that exciting lol. I thought about photographing it as well because it’s surprisingly organized, but just decided not too bc it definitely isn’t photo-ready.
As I mentioned above, this is where I keep everything that doesn’t need to be out in the open causing more clutter. In here you’ll find my retainer (lol), lavender essential oils, extra hair ties, hand lotion, belly butter (hello pregnancy fun), aquaphor, extra charging cords, my air pods, tv remotes, melatonin, and other randomness! Basically, anything that I might need while sitting in bed at arms reach lol.
Then in the second drawer is where I keep all of my belts and the third drawer holds Colton’s socks lol.
So there you have it – my bedside table lol!
Do you have similar items on your bedside??
Anywho, I hope you enjoyed this light read and have a great rest of your week!
xo,
Lauren
