How To Prepare For The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018

Happy Monday Babes! I literally cannot believe the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is happening this week.

This sale happens every summer and I swear it is the queen of all other sales. There is going to be a lot of Nordstrom Anniversary Sale posts on here for the next few weeks, so I want to apologies for that but trust me – you’ll also thank me! I’ve already seen all of the items apart of the sale and I am so excited to share my favorites with you all!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is huge and since you all have lives – let me do the hard work and guide you through the sale!:)

Why it’s such a big deal.

Unlike most sales, these are all brand new items that have not hit the stores yet. Items that never go on sale, go on sale and the designer discounts are crazy. These are all of the hottest fall pieces that haven’t hit the shelves yet, being offered at a crazy discounted price. So While it’s summer time and you’re probably not thinking of buying sweaters and otk boots, come September, you will be glad you did!

I have bought the majority of my favorite items from this sale and truly look forward to it every year because it is just so good.

Key Dates To Remember

  • July 11 – Sale Opens for Level 4 Card Holders
  • July 12 – The first day of Early Access Sale. So if you are a card holder (like me!) – then you get to start shopping on this day! I highly recommend being a card holder because most items sell out very fast! If you get one today and your card is still not in on time – don’t worry! You will immediately be given your card number so you can shop online 🙂
  • July 20 – The sale opens up to the public and everyone can finally shop!
  • August 5 – The last day of the sale!

Tips For The Sale?

-Thursday morning (7/12) I will be posting a huge round up of all of my picks, so that will be a great place to start!! I will have already been through and seen the entire sale by this point and will know exactly what is worth buying.

-Continue to check back here (I have a saved page at the top of the blog) for continuous updates, selections & product restocks!

-Go for items that you know you will want in the fall but don’t want to pay full price for. Example: A nice pair of jeans, those Stuart Weitzman Boots you have been eyeing for years, a new fall sweater or a gorgeous new fall tote. The basics that you are going to wear all fall & winter season.

-Become a Card Holder so that you can shop the sale early too! Like I mentioned, items sell out fast and so many items will be gone by the time it opens up to the public. If you become a card holder today – you will immediately get an account and a number so that you can shop the sale early too!

-Shop Online! Last year, I went into Nordstrom on the day the sale opened and it was the biggest mistake. Calling it a mad house would be the understatement of the century. So my advice is to shop online, all shipping and returns are FREE so if something doesn’t fit, you can return it easily!

-Use a Triple Points Day! When you’re a card holder, you get a few triple points days a year and I always make my big nsale purchases a triple points day. Then I save them up all year long and use them during the sale. So right now, I have over $200 in Nordstrom Notes to use for the sale!

Nordstrom Card Holder Perks

  • Earn 2 points per dollar spent + Level specific benefits
  • Triple Points Day’s

So excited for Thursday! If there are any particular pieces or types of pieces you want me to focus on for the sale – please let me know!

xo,

Lauren
